Thanks Suzy, I love travelling around Europe highlighting areas for others to discover. I have yet to visit America although I feel we made need to arrange a trip in the near future.

I’m from England, lived in Germany for a while and now in America….I really miss Europe so I blog about it and try to go back as often as I can. It’s great to read posts like yours – helps me feel more connected! Thanks

I camped as a teenager in France with my family and with the Guides, but the tents leaked and we had to abandon camp. I’ve been camping for about five years now, but now I’ve got Edna, my camper van so I hope to get out and about even more. I hope we can exchange experiences.

What is it with families and the need to repeat stories? I can sense when one is coming now.

Camping, I believe, gets bad press and has actually improved over the years. One campsite we visited even had underfloor heating in the shower block; turned out to be more luxurious then some of the hotels we have stayed in:)
