How did you sleep? We loved it there but try as we might, we never saw anything 🙂

Looked like a good deal, I will find out. Boo

To be truthful Angela, I went because I saw Elvey Farm online and was attracted to the hotel and then I found out about the history behind Pluckley – I am not a haunted house fan myself and struggle with ghost stories so I was very sceptical before and during our trip. Had we come across anything I am not sure how I would have reacted 🙂

Looks like a great place to stay though, very quaint.

And yet… I’ve had a couple of spooky experiences. 🙂 But a good pub is hard to beat. –Curt

I think it is definitely becoming more common. We have a tv programme over here in the UK dedicated to trying to find these ‘spirits’ which highlights just how much money can be made from this I think. Not being that way inclined ourselves we were always going for the experience in the hotel and more so to say that we had sat in the same pub as David Jason who is a bit of a legend over here! 🙂

Even the old hotel in the small California foothill town I grew up in now claims a couple of ghosts that weren’t around when I lived there. Fun blog. Thanks. –Curt
