At this time of year, Venice is extremely busy, but don’t let the crowds put you off. Consider travelling in Sept after many people have had their summer break. The Nordisk Village is still open at this time and we find that the temperatures in Sept are often better if you are considering a trip to Venice as it is slightly cooler. Of course, Venice is unique and for that reason there will always be an abundance of tourists but it is also a place that everyone needs to visit at least once in my opinion 🙂

If you want a relaxing place to stay then I guarantee this is for you. The Nordisk Village is absolutely amazing (they all have a selection of airstreams if you fancied something different). The fact that you can combine this with a trip to Venice is a great pull for us. I would suggest spending a few days in the city and then moving out to the beach to relax afterwards – the beach itself is one major reason to go in my opinion. Do let us know if you decide to go for it! Likewise, if you find anything else that you feel is unique in your travels we would love to hear about it 🙂

WOW. We’re planning a trip to Italy next summer and there are sooooo many amazing things to do but we’ve been looking for something unique and relaxing for a few days… this could be it! Looks so fun!

I have been hesitating if I should ever travel to Venice as I really can’t take huge tourist crowds. Looks like I found a great new place to stay near Venice city! 🙂
